|REVIEW| By Wishtrend TECA 1% Barrier Cream: How to Get Clear Skin?

By Wishtrend TECA 1% Barrier Cream review

It’s been almost three weeks now since I got this By Wishtrend TECA 1% Barrier Cream. This is By Wishtrend’s latest product and I seriously cannot be any more excited, especially since it targets acne prone skin! If you have been reading my latest few posts (read reviews on Belif and Freeman) and comparing them to my older posts (read reviews on FROMNATURE and Klairs), you may have noticed that my skin is currently a pimple garden growing in progress. 😒

|REVIEW| Freeman Feeling Beautiful Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask

I honestly did not know what to expect when I first saw the packaging. I got this in the PR box Lush N' Blush sent me when they were celebrating their first official birthday. I knew it is a mask for all skin types and I knew it aims to clear pores and smoothen skin. But I wasn't sure if it was a sheet mask, a peel-off mask or a wash-off mask and I wasn't sure how many uses it came with. Hence, I've left it in the cabinet for almost two months before I finally decided to take it out and use.

|REVIEW| 4. Christmas With Belif: Tinted Moisturizer Powdery B.B

Belif Tinted Moisturizer Powdery Bb review

It's less than 10 days away from Christmas! I really can't can't get any more excited! I love all the Christmas songs and those Christmas decorations in the malls are the grandest and prettiest of all. Which is why, I want to help you get ready for the best festival of the year by sharing with you a BELIF Christmas Box that I received two weeks ago! There are four products in it and I've reviewed the last three products in my previous posts. Now, let's do the last one and you'd be equipped with all you need to decide whether you want to get them for this upcoming festival!

|REVIEW| 3. Christmas With Belif: Oil Control Moisturizer Fresh

Belif Oil Control Moisturizer Fresh review

Oh my God! We are already at the third product now? I seriously cannot BELIF this! It's been a week since I started this series and now we are almost at the end of it! Anyhow, the show must go on. For those of you who are feeling a little lost, this is a Christmas series which I'm doing for Belif. Special thanks to Tammy, our founder of The Butterfly Project Malaysia for making this happen! So what are the Belif products that I have reviewed or am going to review?

|REVIEW| 2. Christmas With Belif: Aqua Gel Oil

belif aqua gel oil review

Christmas is just another two weeks away! OMG! But first and foremost, a big thank you to Tammy from The Butterfly Project Malaysia and Belif for this beautiful box of early Christmas! Inside the box, there are four different Belif products and I plan to review them all one by one BEFORE the big day hits. That way I can review them in detail and give a fair review to each one, AND, you can decide if you want to get them for yourself, your friends or your loved ones as this year's Christmas gift! That's the perfect win-win situation!

|REVIEW| 1. Christmas With Belif: Cleansing Oil Fresh

belif cleansing oil fresh review

Can't BELIF it's going to be Christmas so soon (see what I did there? HAHA)! I was just celebrating Halloween with my favourite TV Show: Stranger Things and now Christmas is just around the corner? This is too soon! Because after that, it is going to be the end of the year and I'm not ready for 2018 yet! Sigh, are you ready?

Skincarisma: A Skincare Ingredient Tool I'm Dying to Introduce

skincarisma review

Hello there! I had been meaning to write something ever since two weeks ago but just hadn't had the time (and the motivation HAHA) to do so. But I'm feeling it so bad now, at 10.30pm, so, let's do a quick one! This time I'm not going to review anything (Something is coming soon! I have something brewing at the background, do check out my Instagram stories @yanrula if you can't wait to find out more), but to talk about a new skincare ingredient analytics tool that I've recently come across.

|REVIEW| 3. Half Moon Eyes Milky Moisture Cream: How to Get CHOK CHOK Skin

Half Moon Eyes Milky Moisture Cream review

Yay! I'm back for my last review on a HME product. My workload has gone crazy lately. But I am doing more than fine. I think. Because I will look at my senior and comfort myself that what I'm going through isn't hell YET. HAHAHAHA. By the way, in case you didn't see my last post on the HME Pink Fruity Wash Off Mask, just want to say that I'm planning to have a new series talking about work which I will share here. If you ever wonder how it's like to work in one of the big four audit firms, be sure to stay tuned!

|REVIEW| 2. Half Moon Eyes Pink Fruity: How to Get CHOK CHOK Skin

half moon eyes althea

Yay! I'm back for my second review on a HME product. Can't believe I manage to do this even though I've been really busy with work. Life as an auditor is really no joke HAHA. By the way, in case you didn't see my last post on the HME Milky Jelly Toning Essence, just want to say that I'm planning to have a new series talking about work which I will share here. If you ever wonder how it's like to work in one of the big four audit firms, be sure to stay tuned!

|REVIEW| 1. Half Moon Eyes Milky Jelly Toning Essence: How to Get CHOK CHOK Skin

how to get chok chok skin

It's been three weeks since my last post on TST's new counter in The Garden's Mall! I wish I could post more often in the past three weeks but my work has really kept me very occupied. I've had my ups and downs in the first six weeks of work and I thought it'd be interesting to talk about them. So, I'm planning to have a new series talking about work which I will share here. If you ever wonder how it's like to work in one of the big four audit firms, stay tuned!

|EVENT STORY| TST's First Counter in Robinsons, The Gardens Mall

tinsecret malaysia launch

One last event before everything goes haywire. One last one. 😒 I think that really shows how scared I am of starting work, haha! Hence, I gave my last to TST's, short for Tin'Secret, launch of first counter in Robinsons, The Gardens Mall. I've been to a few events now and I honestly never thought I could still be so surprised when I arrived at the event location (read the story at the end). Oh, by the way, I received the invitation from Charlene, who also invited me to the launch party for Jeunesse NV Range. So, thank you Charlene!

|REVIEW| I Love This Oil: Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil

Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil review

I've always doubted the use of cleansing oil. It felt dirty and I simply couldn't accept putting more oil on my skin which is already uncontrollably oily at the T-zone. But this was before I learnt about the Korean skincare routine, where double cleansing with oil is a norm and a highly praised method to remove all the makeup and dirt off my face. Ever since I knew about the reason behind it, I've never once skipped one day not oil-cleansing my face. Today, let's talk about my favourite: the Dear Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil.

|EVENT STORY| 2 Years Old: Manicure @ EnCHANted Siblings

I'm officially a working adult! It's been two weeks into work now and I was very anxious about what would happen in these past two weeks. Guess what? I've met a lot of new friends and so far everything is going really well. But today is a Saturday and I don't want to talk about work. Let's do an event introduction on Enchanted Siblings, Malaysia's first themed beauty prestige, which just turned 2! If you're totally clueless about what I just said in the last sentence, read on HAHA!

|REVIEW| FROMNATURE Sparkling Effect Hyaluronic Aqua Mask

FROMNATURE Sparkling Effect Hyaluronic Aqua Mask

When it comes to masks, I prefer sheet masks above all others. They are more convenient to use, require less effort and are sometimes producing exactly the same effect as some wash-off masks. I've become quite a sheet mask addict ever since I stepped up the game a few years ago to run my own 10-step skincare routine. So, today, let's talk about this very new FROMNATURE sheet mask that I recently got!

|REVIEW| Err.. What: Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence

benton snail bee high content essence review

I don't know if you remember but I mentioned that I bought Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence when I did a review on Althea.kr. So today let's finally review this elegant-looking essence!  I got it for free during the buy one free one promotion this March 2017 and it is because I was curious what a product with snail secretion filtrate and bee venom will do to my skin, which comes under the category, sensitive combination.

|REVIEW| Skin Gym Laser Clinic Series: 1 Introduction & Carbon Peel

skin gym laser clinic review

Hello guys! From the name I hope you can tell I am about to do a series of posts for Skin Gym Laser Clinic! The reason I'm doing this is because I understand that a lot of you would be more keen on learning the actual improvement laser can give to our skin after a few treatments. And I figured that a review of just one treatment is never accurate. So today, I'll do a simple introduction of the clinic, show you some before pictures of my skin and explain about the first laser I did.

|REVIEW| [JOLSE] Nada Soda The Pore Care Pack Review

nada soda pore care pack review

After my last review on the Rivecowe Bubble Mask Pack, I'm back with another bubble mask! This is the Nada Soda The Pore Care Pack which I got from Jolse. I know! The name doesn't say anything about 'bubble' and that was me being sceptical when I first saw it on Jolse. All I could tell is that it is for my pores and I really had zero idea about how the mask would act until I saw its packaging in the picture below.

|SPECIAL STORY| Ready For More: Lush N' Blush 1st Birthday Event

lush n blush birthday sale

I love it when it comes to birthdays. Not only do I get to throw parties, I also get to enjoy many special perks (discounts everywhere 😍) that is usually not available. But it's even better when it comes to my favourite online store's birthday. More accurately, birthMONTH. Because all of us get to enjoy the special perks for a whole month and get lots of surprises we usually don't!

|FASHION STORY| Getting Active: Jonlivia LED Compression Pants

I just don't seem to care for any other part of my body as much as my face because something doesn't seem so right with my abdomen area lately. It has bulged so much! Now I'm just waiting to see who's the first to ask me if I'm pregnant (you have been warned πŸ˜‚). I'm seriously so jealous of those of you who don't grow that little belly no matter how much you eat LOL! To save the day, I've decided to hit the gym every day but another dilemma surfaces: I don't have the proper clothing for gym. Luckily Jonlivia came to my rescue (so who's saving the day now HAHA).

|REVIEW| April 22 Rose Energy Cream ηŽ«η‘°θƒ½ι‡ιœœ Review (Special Deal!)

april 22 rose energy cream

If you've followed me for some time now, then you might know that I'm not one who loves to put on makeup. For some unknown reason, I'm always worried that makeup is going to clog my pores and give me acnes. (My brain: No, it's just because you're lazy!) *Err, did you hear anyone talking? No? I didn't either, so let's move on.* But I do need to put on makeup for some occasions such as a wedding dinners and interviews to look less tired (thanks to me going to bed at the wee hours of the morning) and more presentable (my acnes love to choose those times to pop up!). How do I convince myself to put on makeup??? 😭

|FOOD STORY| What The Fox: Apple Fox Cider Is Now In Malaysia!

apple fox cider

If you know me personally, then you'd know I don't normally drink. The reason is because I flush too easily and I don't particularly enjoy looking 'red' at anywhere public. πŸ˜‚ But when I'm at home with my family, I do enjoy having some apple cider while chit-chatting and watching TV with them. So when I know that Apple Fox has brought New Zealand-inspired apple cider, which they called Apple Fox Cider, to our shores, I was elated!

Can you believe it? It's August already and the 29th Southeast Asian Games is already happening! For the sixth time, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is again the host city for SEA Games. As a fellow Malaysian who was born in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, I couldn't have been prouder! There will be 404 events held for a period of 11 days and everything will come to an end on the eve of Merdeka day, i.e. Malaysia's National day on 30 August 2017. |EVENT STORY| All Pink: Sugao From Japan Is In Watsons Malaysia!

sugao malaysia

Last week I went to Botanica Deli to take a look at Rhoto-Mentholatum Malaysia's latest brand, Sugao which is now available at selected Watsons outlets. June, who graciously extended an invitation to me, told me that we would be required to dress up in pink that day. When I first saw the word "PINK" I was like, 'yeah, alright, that shouldn't be an issue, I should have something in the wardrobe.' As I happily slid open the door and scanned my wardrobe, I realised I don't own any pink shirt/dress that's suitable for the event! The only pink I have is a polo T-shirt which would be deemed totally inappropriate. 😭

|EVENT STORY| Shop Beauty Products From Japan With Luxella.com!

luxella.com review
Facing the camera is Luxella.com's founder, Kaylee Lim.

After I came back from Japan, the only thing I regret not doing is bringing back as many beauty products as possible because I just realised a lot of them are not available at all in Malaysia! But what can I do? I won't be going back to Japan any time soon unless I learn how to grow money on trees. Luckily I found out about Luxella.com, an e-commerce beauty store with a focus on Japanese skincare and cosmetics (they ship to US, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand and Norway)!

|REVIEW| Removing Shine 2 - Althea Petal Velvet Powder Review

Althea Petal Velvet Powder Review

I kept my promise! HAHA I barely could because the last few days has been so hectic I hardly had a chance to touch my laptop. But thank goodness, I managed to get this ready for you in time. So, as promised, I'm back with another powder review! Can't believe it's already a week since my last post. Time flies, doesn't it? Well, enough with the small talk, today I'm going straight into the review without introducing too much because I already did in my W.Lab No Sebum Powder Review. Feel free to take a quick look there and come back here in case you're feeling lost! :D

|REVIEW| Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion & Mochi BB Cushion Pact

Klairs mid day blue sun lotion review
Samples of all Klairs products.

Yes! Today we are doing two products in one post! This is my first time doing a 2-in-1 so get ready for a longer than usual post. I stumbled upon Klairs when Eunice from Wishtrend (a company selling skincare products) introduced their one brand skincare box featuring Klairs on YouTube. Ever since, I tried very hard to get my hands on their products and finally this March, I managed to redeem the Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil, my first Klairs product, from Favful using my hard earned points. Since I'm here with two Klairs products, I'll be reviewing the cleansing oil this August too, so be sure to stay tuned! In the meanwhile, I'm not gonna keep you here for long, let's start with the Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion review!

|REVIEW| Removing Shine - W.Lab Sebum Out Finish Powder Review

W.Lab Sebum Out Finish Powder Review

Has anyone noticed that Althea has just recently launched their own brand product, the Althea Petal Velvet Powder? I'm so excited and of course I got my hands on it. It just arrived in a super beautiful and good-smelling parcel a few days ago! But as the title suggests, I'm not here to talk about Althea's Powder. At least not yet. Because I want to review the W.Lab Sebum Out Finish Powder, i.e. my current Holy Grail before I do Althea's. That I can more easily justify my thoughts on the new powder! So, do expect one more powder review post on the coming Saturday! πŸ˜€

|FOOD STORY| My Favourite: Tart Passion Bakery @ Damansara Utama

Tart passion bakery review

Last Saturday I had the pleasure to try out the tarts at Tart Passion Bakery located in Damansara Utama. I love eating tarts, especially egg tarts, but I'm also a very picky tart eater. I've tried a lot of egg tarts before but so far I haven't been able to find one that matches the one I had years ago. I still remember gobbling down all six of the tarts in the box although my aunt meant to give them to my grandmother. Not a very good niece/grandchild, am I? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… And kids, no you shouldn't do that because that's super impolite.

|EVENT STORY| Capturing Natural Beauty With Swanicoco @ Watsons

swanicoco malaysia review

It was exactly two months ago when I first learnt about Swanicoco. That was when I received the Swanicoco AC Control Care Skintoner (RM118.90 for 120ML, this is cheaper than Althea's RM130!) in my Althea Trouble Breaker Box (middle item in the picture below). I had a really good first impression of the brand because of its packaging and how the toner felt on my skin. The bottle is sturdy in my hand and the toner softens my skin like no other. Till now I still cannot find another toner that matches its performance! Enough about the toner, let's get to the even more exciting part!

|REVIEW| [JOLSE] Rivecowe Bubble Mask Pack Review

rivecowe bubble mask pack review
The packaging is so cute! I love the bubble design and it's pink! 😍

I watched a lot of YouTube videos on the Elizavecca’s Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask  and it was funny to see how it bubbled up on my favourite YouTubers' faces. I didn't buy into the bubble mask trend until I tried out the Rivecowe Bubble Mask Pack myself yesterday. At first I thought that since it's a sheet mask, it'd only have mild bubbling and man was I wrong! Never had I thought I'd experience something similar with a bubble mask pack so I was very surprised by this mask. Now the question is, is it the good or the bad kind of surprise?

(πŸ˜‚ Any BTS army here?)

|EVENT STORY| Clio Tropical Hipster & Peripera Perikiki In Malaysia

Ink The Velvet from the Perikiki Collection. The hat figurines on them are so cute!

Thanks to The Butterfly Project Malaysia, I was lucky enough to be able to join the launch party by Club Clio at Sunway Pyramid. If you feel a bit lost looking at the title, that's because you are looking at two new collections where one of them is a limited edition! Can you guess which one? Answer is hidden in the post, read through the post to find out! These are summer collections by Clio and Peripera respectively hence the products are made to stand against the scorching hot sun which can melt me into a puddle of sweat (yucks). Sounds perfect for Malaysia's weather!

|EVENT STORY| Get The Airbrushed Look With NV By Jeunesse

Jeunesse nv range malaysia review
I love how they branded it NV which has the same pronunciation as "envy".

I watched a lot of Tati's videos and I was most impressed when she was testing out spray-on/airbrush makeup products. Never had I thought I would have the chance to witness the use of them in real life! Jeunesse has even brought in Celebrity Makeup Artist, KF Bong, that day to wow us all with a demonstration of how to use NV products to achieve a professional look in a fraction of the time. So what is NV and what are these products that I'm talking about?

|Review| Medi Spa Facial at Nexus Clinic KL Malaysia (Special Deal!)

nexus clinic malaysia review

If you've been following me for some time now, you know that I am very into skincare and have always tried to give my skin the best. That's why I have a regular facial treatment provider that I go to to get my clogged pores cleared up and my messy eyebrows tidied. However recently I've used up all the credits in my purchased package so I decided to try something new. Make sure you read till the end because Nexus Clinic is offering you, my dear readers, a special price of only RM150 for a Medi Spa facial (costs RM500) if you quote the right name!

|EVENT STORY| Pika Pika Sparkling Bright Tea Party by Watsons

pika pika malaysia review

Watsons Malaysia recently launched Pika Pika, a Japanese skincare brand, both in store and online. To celebrate, they organised a tea party and invited a few bloggers to join them at ForΓͺt Blanc last Saturday. It was during the event only I learnt that 'pika' isn't just the only word Pikachu can pronounce, but it also means 'bright'. Now that explains the title of the deep cleansing range (read on to understand why I said that)!

|REVIEW| Corine de Farme Micellar Cleansing Foam (Lush N' Blush)

Once and again, I'm here with another cleanser whose name I haven't heard before until my Lush N' Blush package arrived at my front door. Thank you Ms. Blush for introducing me to my new favourite! This cleanser has made it into my cleansing squad which now has six members, with the AHA Cleansing Research babe retiring soon (thankfully, at least I'm finishing something). July is officially a no-buy month now! You're welcome to lecture me if you catch me buying woo~

|Review| Start Pampering Your Hair @ Hair Color Expert

Hair Color Expert Sri P review
The place is secured with working surveillance cameras so you can see how we all feel safe enough to just leave our belongings unattended while we have our hair shampooed at the back.

I care a lot about my skin, to the extent that it prompted me to start this blog and share reviews on products I used with you. But according to my mum, I have not been giving quite the same amount of attention to my hair, which is now chest-length and demanding love. So, instead of denying and arguing with her, again, I jumped at the opportunity to try out the Korea Royal Nano Mist Treatment at Hair Colour Expert (HCE).

|FOOD STORY| Trying Malaysia's Local Food At S One One @ SS2

what to eat in PJ
Ducks, chickens and porks on display in S11 at SS2

Last Saturday, I paid a visit to a newly open local restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine in SS2, Petaling Jaya. Since I haven't talked about food here in ages (the last one was on Ben's and it was in March!), I really want to do this and share my foodie experience with you again. Just to warn you ahead, you might not want to read this at night. My stomach wouldn't stop rumbling while I was writing this.

|REVIEW| Holika Holika Golden Monkey Glamour Lip 3-Step Kit

Holika Holika Golden Monkey Glamour Lip review

My attention was caught when I first met Holika Holika. At first I thought the name is a derivation of the word Holy, since the brand promises to magically transform our skin with its products (can you see the correlation? HAHA). Little did I know it was actually derived from the English suffix “-holic”, which means addiction (like alco-holic) and the Korean word “holida” which means temptation. The people behind Holika Holika sure know how to name things because it didn't stop there. To catch our attention even more, they named this lip kit "Golden Monkey".

Surprise Surprise: Nominated For Blogger Recognition Award!

Being nominated for an award is the best thing that could happen. Especially when it comes to my blog. I've spent so much time on it, it's feels good to be noticed by a fellow blogger! It's a place I share skincare reviews with you peeps and I've never thought I could ever get to where I am if without your support!

First thing first, I want to thank Nabeeda Bakali from The World of Nabeeda for the nomination. You've seriously made my day when you left a comment on my blog! Thank you for the award and now I'm going to pass it on to another 15 of you.

|REVIEW| My Fave Sheet Mask: PDC Liftarna Concentrate Mask

liftarna mask
I think this photo is pretty decent. πŸ€”

Hello everyone! Yeah I know, I don't normally greet but this time is different. I am doing a blog detox! If you're wondering what a blog detox is, let me explain a little. There's this blogger community in Malaysia called The Butterfly Project (TBP in short) which I joined in May. TBP hosts a monthly detox event for us beauty/skincare bloggers to follow where we sit down and just share about a product.

So... what's the difference with what I'm doing now? Isn't that what I do already?

|REVIEW| Unboxing Althea Trouble Breaker Box For Acne

althea trouble breaker box review
Already unboxed HAHA! Spot the one product that looks a little bit odd~

It's been a while since I've done a beauty review and it's back! This time let's go a little crazy because I'm going to review the Althea Trouble Breaker Box which has six full size products in it! YES, SIX! All specially curated by the elves in Althea Korea! This box is meant for acne prone skin as the products are carefully selected to calm irritated skin and remove flaws! So, six products, full size, carefully selected, this thing must have costed a fortune?

|REVIEW| The Only Blue - Innisfree Bija Trouble Lotion

innisfree bija trouble lotion review
For you to see how much product there is in this little Innisfree tube!

I have a thing with blue the colour. When I was tidying my wardrobe I realised more than half of my clothes are blue. I didn't know I'm such a blue person! I've always thought I'm a... Well I've actually never thought what colour person I am before until today. But BLUE! No offence, blue is a beautiful colour! I just never see myself as someone who'd own so much blue in my wardrobe. Did we just go off a tangent?

|REVIEW| Oops...Toner Again - Swanicoco A.C Control Care Skintoner

Swanicoco AC Control care skintoner

One, two, three, ... okay, let's stop counting, who cares how many toners a girl got on her vanity? As long as they are all in use, and are perfectly suitable for her skin, it's perfectly fine! So yeah, this is the fourth toner I just welcomed into the family. But its has already earned the second position in my heart for a toner. (Number one goes to the COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad, convenience always ranks first)

|REVIEW| The Saem Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water [Sebum Care]

The Saem Cleansing Water

A beauty review, finally, it's back! This time I'm going to talk about a few products in a row because I just received the Althea Trouble Breaker box which consists of SIX full size products! I will post a review on each product if I think it'll be too long to review directly in the unboxing review (which is coming on Saturday!). I know it is weird for me to post the reviews before the unboxing review, but I feel this will be the least confusing way for me to introduce the box to you. You'll find out why, so stay tuned!

|Review| Doctor On The Net - Doctor On Call Review

doctor on call malaysia review

I am back from Perth and I miss the weather so much! It was cold when I first arrived but soon after I'd got used to the weather, it was time for me to leave already! Sigh, can I stay there forever? Anyone? I'm small enough to fit in your closet. Okay, that sounded waaaay less creepy in my head.

Anyway, today I want to share with you something different from my usual skincare reviews and beauty tips. All of you living in Malaysia, make sure you stay till the end because I'm about to let you in on something very convenient and money-saving! But before I do, let me fill you in with a background story:

|BEAUTY TIPS| Don't Hate Sunblocks, Just Choose The Right One!

how to choose sunblock
Intothegloss (click image for image source)

Sunblock has not been my thing until I was almost 20 years old. In my mind back then, sunscreen was just a hair sticking, disgusting cream that kept me from having a good day with my skin. Not to mention it made me look like an oil slick under Malaysia's super hot weather! Having a greased up skin all day had also broken me out so often I've almost given up on sunblocks and declared it a no-touch. But I've changed my mind since.

|BEAUTY TIPS| Beginner’s Guide to Korean 10-step Skincare

beginner 10 step skincare routine

I've been posting so many reviews in a row from cleanser to sunblock but I haven't really talked about how they all go into my own routine. I now have like 20+ in-progress products (SIAL?) with new members coming in almost every month (WHAAAAT? *I CANNOT CURB MY URGE*). I actually follow the 10-step Korean skincare routine and modify the routine depending on my skin condition (and how lazy tired I am that day). So, today let's scratch the surface a little with this short and sweet beginner's guide that I put together to help you begin.

|REVIEW| Things You Should Know Before Buying From Althea.kr

althea malaysia review
Task: find that random strand of hair.

(Posting earlier because I'm flying off to Perth this Saturday and I seriously need to start packing soon!)

I finally made my first purchase from Althea Malaysia this February (and I'm only writing my thoughts now LOL)! I've had my eyes on the Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream (watch my awkward First Impression Review!) since ages ago but didn't make up my mind until Althea offers this perfect discount on it. By that time I still hadn't used up my The Body Shop Moisture White™ Shiso 2 in 1 Brightening Eye Cream which I've had for at least three years. Whaaat? That's like forever! The The Body Shop eye cream only has 15ml! Yet I managed to keep it for three years which I'm sure is way past its expiry date, woo (no I wasn't trying to save money).

p.s. I was having this dilemma of whether to add a 'the' in front The Body Shop. Grammatically, I think I should (so I did, it was not a typo), but it just looks really weird, what do you think?

|REVIEW| Guerisson 9 Complex Cream Light + Fake vs Real

guerisson 9 complex cream light review

The horse oil didn't, my tripod did. I always use tripod to take my pictures because I love using low ISO which in turn needs low shutter speed. This morning when I was having a photoshoot session for my 'model', I carefully positioned my camera and proceeded to screwing it in place. For a moment everything looked fine. As I went on to position the horse oil cream (Ha! The 'model') for photography, I heard a loud thud. My camera had fallen 90 degree downwards, with its base barely attached to the top of the tripod.

|REVIEW| Scary Exfoliator: Cure Natural Aqua Gel Review

cure exfoliator review

I bought into the Cure hype when I was looking for an exfoliator after my existing one was done. After spending late nights searching through the internet (that is how hardcore I was!), I decided on this Natural Aqua Gel by Cure which comes from Japan. When I read Japan, for a second I thought, "there was no way I could get this in Malaysia." Not until I saw a Facebook post by SaSa Malaysia to announce the availability of the gel in their stores! I shed the tears of joy and bought it the next day at SaSa Sunway Pyramid.
