STRESS-RELATED ACNES
I recently realised that my acne issue is seasonal and is 100% due to the stress caused by my work schedule. I had been having really bad acnes during the first half of the year, which subside and totally recover in the second half of the year. When it nears the end of the year, the entire cycle repeats itself and it collides perfectly with the stress level at work! TT But I don't really feel stressed physically! Is that how my body is telling me I should start paying more attention to the stress?

YAS, THE GOOD ONES
Butylene Glycol, Panthenol and Sodium Hyaluronate are all powerful moisturisers. Hence this could potentially be a life saver for those of you with extremely dry skin!
Glycerin can help keep the skin hydrated and keep the overactive oil glands under control.
We all know Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, i.e. Aloe Vera is very famous for its hydrating properties. Containing Auxin and Gibberellins, Aloe Vera is a pro in promoting wound healing (it treats minor burn like a queen). It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help bring down skin inflammation, which is why it has been frequently featured in acne products.
Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate is a dipotassium salt of Glycyrrhizic Acid. It is normally used as a flavouring agent and a skin conditioning agent as it as anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Betaine is a gentle hydrating ingredient that naturally occurs in skin and the body or could be plant-derived or synthetic, which can help balance our skin's hydration.

Then, we have Allantoin. An ingredient that aims to improve dry and rough skin as it provides our skin with intensive moisture. Being a skin conditioner, it is also known for its ability to soothe irritated skin and protect our skin from external irritants and dirt.
Centella Asiatica Extract is known for its skin-calming properties. Mainly found in shady and damp areas in many different parts of the world, Centella (a.k.a. tiger grass because wounded tigers were often seen rolling in it to heal their wounds) is a small plant that grows up to around six inches in height. Also called the “miracle elixirs of life”, researchers have found that Centella Asiatica Extract facilitates the healing of cuts and burns as it can promote collagen production and inhibit inflammation which results in scarring.
Ceramides make this super moisturising on the skin, which means it should be great on people with dry skin type.
NAH, THE BAD ONES
Other than Stearic Acid, which has a comedogenic rating of 3 and can potentially clog pores if you have oily skin, Skincarisma has not highlighted any other ingredients that should be our cause of concern! Now, let's see how it actually does!
THAT'S WHAT I'M DOING
So I have got some Dear Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask from Wishtrend sitting on my table while I was working and I decided, why not just relax and do a mask right now? Then I ended up working while I was doing the mask. Man, I just don't feel like lying down doing nothing while I mask. I feel relaxed while I'm working! At least that's what my brain was telling me haha! Do you mask while you work too?
WHY IS IT CALLED TENCEL?
This mask is in the same series as Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream (you can tell by the name haha). But are you wondering why the mask was named "Tencel Sheet Mask"? That is because the mask is a healing gauze dual-layered with 100% cotton and Tencel. Tencel is a fibre made from the wood pulp of trees and is produced using environmentally-friendly solvents. When blended with cotton, Tencel has the lustrous feel of a silk and it can minimise skin irritation when used as a mask material. Cool!

HOW TO USE
Following the instructions on the mask pack, I cleansed my face, put on some toner and attached the sheet mask on my skin. The mask has the top and bottom parts separated and I would prefer putting on the top part before the bottom. The mask has no guiding sheet so it took me a while to open up the mask. The mask also felt quite fragile so do be careful not to tear it! I left the mask on for around 15-20 minutes and after removing I gently pat my skin to help the absorption of the remaining essence.
TELL ME HOW IT FEELS
The mask was filled with so much serum when I took it out of the packaging. It stuck on the face like a second skin and held on to it without budging. I like how smooth the mask felt and there was not a single uncomfortableness when I was using this mask. It didn't smell heavily of anything either. In fact, I couldn't really detect anything when it was on my face the entire time! There was also this constant cooling sensation that my skin really loved about this mask.
WOULD I SAY YES?
I already can't wait to use the Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask again! I just love a cooling mask that doesn't have any smell at all. 😍 My skin looks super well moisturised after the mask and that helped scare all my pores into hiding haha! Here's a tip though: pat the residue in immediately after taking off the mask. This prevents the serum from drying down to a sticky residue and can help maximise the serum absorption. Using it before sleeping is also a good idea to keep the skin well hydrated especially when the weather is cold or if you sleep in air-conditioned room!
