In another two weeks, we will be celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year. It has always been a very exciting period for me because not only do I get to meet up with my cousins, I also get to receive Angpaus (red packets in Mandarin). But this year, things are a little different and I'm now on the giving end (I got married on New Year). Hopefully, nobody wants to meet up now due to the COVID-19 situation *evil smile*. Well now, let's see how we can look our best for the upcoming festive season, shall we?

Hello! I'm back with another review of AXIS-Y's new products! Before we start, let me tell you something: I'm getting married in less than a month's time! Can you believe that! Actually, we originally planned to get married in Feb 2022 but a friend told us that all auspicious dates that we wanted have been fully booked at the Thean Hou Temple. 

Seriously, how did those other couples act so fast?! So we ended up going to the KLSCAH to book the last available auspicious date on 1/1/2022 at the very last minute. Because of that, we had a hard time booking a photographer and MUA as most of them have already been fully booked on the date (apparently a lot of people are getting married on that same day too). I shall share more once the ROM (that's short for "Registration of Marriage" for those of you who don't know) is over hehe.

I've long been plagued by the dark spot that shows up on my skin after an unwelcome pimple healed. HOW I SAY BYE BYE TO ACNE MARKS

Do you remember my earlier review on The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution? Remember how scary my skin was before I started using it? That wasn't the only product that I was using to speed up my acne recovery. Although The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution helped me reduce the breakout, I still need something to tone down the acne marks. Here comes the The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. Something I can no longer live without haha.

BEST MONTH EVER

This is by far the best month ever since I started work. I took two months off for my last ICAEW paper (read my ICAEW journey here and here) and I honestly don't think I need that much time-off. Even our lecturer urged us to go back to work since there is not much to study until the Advanced Information (the first part of the exam paper for Case Study) comes out. But I had taken the leave anyway, why not just indulge myself again in doing something I love? (Like being here 😚)

WHAT TO EXPECT?
I knew exactly what I was expecting when I got this Swissvita Mandelic Acid Perfect Ratio Complex Serum from AllYoung.my (read my review on the website!). I expected it to brighten up my skin tone, smoothen out my skin texture and last but not least I expected it to sting. All these based on my previous experience with an AHA product which delivered all of the above. But is reality the same as my expectation? We shall find out soon!

The last time I was here for serum was for the Purito Centella Green Level Buffet Serum, which I raved again and again here and on my Instagram (@yanrula). Now that it has been more than a month later and I'm very excited to have this newly launched Benton Cacao Moist and Mild Serum to try and review. Thank you Benton for sending this over! |REVIEW| Purito Centella Green Level Buffet Serum

GLAD I DID
Recently I'm very into the Purito Centella Green Level All in One Mild Pad, which I've now been using for three weeks. It's my most loved cleansing/toning pad which I cannot live without and I will not give it up easily for anything else. This is also why I'm really glad I opted for the whole Centella Line when James from Purito offered me an opportunity to try and review their products. If only they have a Centella sunblock, I wouldn't even think twice about grabbing that one HAHA!

|REVIEW| By Wishtrend Pure Vitamin C 21.5 Advanced Serum: So High

SO SOON, ANOTHER ONE THIS YEAR!
I had a good experience with the C20 Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum (now known as TIAM My Signature C-Source) which I was using just earlier this year. Frankly, I didn't finish the bottle, also my first bottle. When I was at my last 5ml, the solution became really yellowish, i.e. super oxidised, because I didn't keep it in the fridge *regret*. I'm a lazy girl and the fridge is simply too 'far' from my room HAHA! So I threw it away before I actually finished it, hence the lack of a proper review here. So this one now is kind of a compensation! I will compare this new Vitamin C 21.5 Serum to my old C20 and let you know what I think about them!
