CLAY MASK IS MY BAE

I am obsessed with clay masks. I will always have at least 2 clay masks in my bathroom. I'd used them every time after I shower for 2-3 times a week. Recently, I have come across the Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack from AXIS-Y. Although it doesn't say on its name that it is clay mask, it contains Kaolin clay, which is known for its abilities in extracting impurities and absorbing excess oils without causing inflammation or redness.

I was strolling past Watsons one day and I noted some new additions to the shelf in the store. They come in tubes and there are four different colours. Intrigued, I walked in and picked out one to take a close look at. LONG TIME

It's been so long since I last reviewed a clay mask. The last one I did on Innisfree's Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask was more than a year ago! Okay, that's if you don't count the Nada Soda the Pore Care Pack, a bubble clay mask I got from Jolse and wrote a review in September last year. Even that one was roughly 8 months ago, also the time I started my job as an auditor in one of the big fours. Can somebody slow down the hands of time ah? LOL.

DIE HARD FAN

I love clay mask. I put on clay mask at least once a week to draw out all the impurities and dirt that I "collected" in my pores during the week. But clay masks sometimes create quite a mess and it takes a lot of time just to put on and wash off. Despite how much I love the after- effect, sometimes I just feel too lazy having to use a brush to put on the mask, wash it off (that takes at least 10 minutes every time grr) and clean the bathroom floor afterwards. Yes, it dirties the floor all the time.

INSECURITY BRAGS

Talking about a pore clay mask makes me feel nervous. Because the only way I can show you how great/bad a pore clay mask is, is by showing you my own pores (and be embarrassed by it). I don't think my pores are as huge as some I've seen or terribly dirty, but insecurity is my best friend. He is always ready to nag me on some trivial matter, especially when it comes to my skin.
