Just finished watching Three Lives Three Worlds, The Pillow Book. It's been a long time since I watched a TV drama without skipping a single second and just wanted to watch another episode after another. When I was watching this heart-wrenching drama, there are a lot of random thoughts going through my head. One of them includes me questioning my choices. But anyhow, drama is drama, why not let me introduce you to an eye cream that I love putting on my eyes after all the crying?

MCO EXTENDED AGAIN
I am supposed to be free today. Able to roam the streets and go wherever I want. But our Prime Minister has extended the Movement Control Order to 28 April and I have to continue to be a good citizen and stay home. Coronavirus, why can't you come two years later when I have my own place with my baby. This has been the longest time ever we never meet up ever since we know each other (i am not clingy okay haha). But I do realise one thing, long distance relationship is always workable when the person is right. 🌝 Now, back to the review?

STRESS-RELATED ACNES

I recently realised that my acne issue is seasonal and is 100% due to the stress caused by my work schedule. I had been having really bad acnes during the first half of the year, which subside and totally recover in the second half of the year. When it nears the end of the year, the entire cycle repeats itself and it collides perfectly with the stress level at work! TT But I don't really feel stressed physically! Is that how my body is telling me I should start paying more attention to the stress?

My way of tackling stress at the moment: MASKING. And blogging. LOL.

There are days where my skin just cannot be nice to me. It acts up and becomes itchy and red. So often I don't know what to do other than just put on my regular skincare products and go to bed, wishing that all the redness would go away before the morning comes. Yet, wishes don't always come true. Sleeping in air-conditioned room doesn't help either. So I searched up and down for a solution and I stumbled upon the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream.

There is one thing that I love about the idea of 'upgrading'. The anticipation of something new and better and any surprises that come along with it is very exciting and fun. At least that was what I felt when I found out from a little birdie that Wishtrend Wishtrendis doing an upgrade to their website! I'm really excited about this one. It is a brand new member of Dear Klairs and has only been launched in less than a month ago. I've been meaning to write this review since last week, but was really caught up with studies and exams so I waited another week before I come here to pen down my 2 cents on this new UV Essence. Honestly, I only have good things to say about it. Three weeks of testing is pretty sufficient for me to justify why I love it so much so here we go!

When I saw the name of this product, I immediately thought of it as a replacement for my almost-gone Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. I don't know where that idea came from but I am eager to find out how good my instincts are. Also, it stated on its packaging that it complements the use of Vitamin C by enhancing its effect. This is the part I am most excited about because, who doesn't love a product that speeds up the recovery of an acne scar?

I've always doubted the use of cleansing oil. It felt dirty and I simply couldn't accept putting more oil on my skin which is already uncontrollably oily at the T-zone. But this was before I learnt about the Korean skincare routine, where double cleansing with oil is a norm and a highly praised method to remove all the makeup and dirt off my face. 2-IN-1 FOR KLAIRS
Yes! Today we are doing two products in one post! This is my first time doing a 2-in-1 so get ready for a longer than usual post. I stumbled upon Klairs when Eunice from Wishtrend (a company selling skincare products) introduced their one brand skincare box featuring Klairs on YouTube. Ever since, I tried very hard to get my hands on their products and finally this March, I managed to redeem the Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil, my first Klairs product, from Favful using my hard earned points. Since I'm here with two Klairs products, I'll be reviewing the cleansing oil this August too, so be sure to stay tuned!
